*~*~*~*~*~*~We are instructed to carry love for one another,
And to show great respect for all beings of the earth.
We must stand together, the four sacred colors of man,
as the one family that we are,
in the interest of peace....
Our energy is the combined will of all the people
With the spirit of the natural world,
To be of one body, one heart, and one mind.

Introduction:
This is a Haudenosaunee (People of the Longhouse) site dedicated to promoting Skennenkowa (Great Peace) for the Natural World, the Four Sacred Colors of Man, and the future generations yet born. I, Kanatiyosh, am from the Deer clan, and I am Mohawk and Onondaga from Akwesasne (Land of the drumming partridge) also known as the St. Regis Mohawk Indian Reservation.
I graduated from Arizona State University Law School May 14, 1999 with my Juris Doctorate. While in law school, as I was being submerged in the white man's law, I never forgot nor abandoned my traditional teachings, instead I was driven by an inner voice to became more familiar with Haudenosaunee traditional teachings. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Justice Studies at Arizona State University.
In my opinion, Native American Indian traditional teachings hold the key to continuity of life on this planet, if we do not incorporate these traditional laws, ecological knowledge, beliefs, and spirituality back into our communities and laws, no one will survive.
Enjoy your visit.
