The Church of the American Indian USA

The Church of the American Indian USA is the church of the Native North American Indian people, established under the principles of the National American Indian Religious Freedom Act, a U.S. Public Law, enacted by the U.S. Congress to ensure the free exercise of traditional beliefs and spiritual practices of the North American Indian on a equal footing with the predominant theologies of the day. The Church of the American Indian USA is made up of Indians and Non-Indians who practice the traditional spiritual worship of the Creator according to the original instructions of the people.

Mission of the Church of the American Indian USA

The Mission of the Church of the American Indian USA is to better serve the Great Spirit in worship as given in the original instructions to the people, and to better serve mankind through education and awareness of the Creator and the Church of the American Indian USA.

Strategic Plan of the Church of the American Indian USA

The Church of the American Indian USA plans to accomplish its mission by establishing the following five (5) goals:

  • To establish a building fund to begin working towards a permanent presence and headquarters in the Washington, DC area.
  • To build better communication, contact and network with the many reservation communities continuing their traditional spiritual practices.
  • To educate the public about the Church of the American Indian USA through public service announcements and advertising.
  • To publish a common book of prayer for the Church of the American Indian USA.
  • To organize the Church of the American Indian USA into dioceses to better serve the Creator and the people.
