We’re having a reunion for the family of Carson Lee Jenkins & Nettie Agnes Entsminger on Sunday 19th July 2009 at Uncle Leonard’s house in Upper Marlboro, MD.
This is for their children and their families. They had the following children: 1. Mary Agnes (Furr); 2. Douglas Lee Jenkins; 3. Norman Edward Jenkins; 4. Frances Marie (Jennings) (Pittman); 5. Catherine Irene (McKay); 6. Charles William Jenkins; 7. Dorothy Louise (Hyde) (Dean); 8. John David Jenkins; & 9. Leonard Franklin Jenkins. I have attached a brief family record so you will know where you fit in with the family.
Please bring a covered dish and drinks to share with everyone as well as any photos or other items you wish to share. We haven’t gotten together for a family reunion since May of 1989 so I hope we can make this special. It will be a chance to get to meet some of the family whom we haven’t seen in a long time, plus to meet others for the first time. I hope I will see you there.
I have attached some maps on the back showing the location of Uncle Leonard’s house as well as directions on how to get there from I-495 (Capital Beltway). Take Beltway (I-95/495) exit #11A/PENN. AVE/UPPER MARLBORO onto PENNSYLVANIA AVE (MD-4 S) - go 3.1 mi
Take ramp onto MELWOOD RD (MD-223 S) toward WOODYARD RD/CLINTON/MELLWOOD RD - go 0.3 mi
Turn Left on S. OSBORNE RD - go 2.8 mi
Turn Left on S. CRAIN HWY(US-301 N) - go 0.1 mi
Turn Right on CROOM RD (MD-382) - go 8.4 mi

Arrive at 16323 TANYARD RD, UPPER MARLBORO, MD on the Right Their house is easy to find. When you turn onto Tanyard Rd. you will go down a hill, when you get to the top of the hill their house is the second driveway. They have lots of trees in the front yard, a flower bed, and a rock driveway.
